TIAW Daughters e- Mentoring Program
The TIAW Daughters Program addresses one of the most important issues facing the next generation – economic empowerment. It provides young women professionals, women college students and girls aged 14-24 an opportunity to leverage the knowledge and experience of TIAW’s member networks and other partners throughout the world.
Through global e-Mentoring, TIAW Daughters uses social media and technology platforms to focus on the following key areas:
TIAW understands that education followed by Daughters mentoring creates a positive impact on the life cycle of young women and girls. First, it diminishes the likelihood that they will bear children or marry at an unreasonable age. Second, it provides the tools that these girls and young women need to succeed on their own. Third, as success happens, confidence explodes and recognition emerges. Soon, these girls and young women are changing not only themselves, but their communities.
